Ahavah (אהבה, "Love") = 13. Echad (אחד, "One") = 13. This simple arithmetic contains one of gematria's most beautiful teachings: love and oneness are numerically identical. To love is to recognize the unity that underlies apparent separation. To experience oneness is to experience love.
Emet (אמת, "Truth") = 441 = 21 × 21 = 21². Truth is a perfect square — a number multiplied by itself, self-consistent and complete. The number 21 is the value of the Divine Name Ehyeh (אהיה, "I Will Be"), first spoken at the burning bush. Truth, then, is the perfect square of divine becoming — "I Will Be" reflected upon itself.
Shalom (שלום, "Peace") = 376 = the same as Esav (עשו, "Esau"). This startling equivalence suggests that true peace can only come through reconciliation with one's adversary — Jacob must make peace with Esau, the spiritual must integrate with the physical, the ideal must embrace the real. These pairs of equal values are not curiosities; they are the gematria system revealing the deep structure of meaning — connections that are invisible in language but visible in number.
